But this time it is clearly the Mortal Kombat 1 Scorpion, rocking his original costume, who quickly dispatches Raiden with a brutal Fatality. Although no gameplay was shown, just like Mortal Kombat X‘s reveal trailer, it is safe to assume there are lots of hints to possible gameplay features hidden within the trailer.įirst off we have an evil Raiden (the “Punished Raiden” referred to in earlier leaks) fighting against the MK poster boy Scorpion. A “fighters pass” is also purchasable, which bundles all DLC packs for $24.99, making them available as soon as they’re out.After being a no-show at E3, months of rumors and speculation (of which we reported on here as well), tonight at The Game Awards, as suspected by many, we finally have our first look at Mortal Kombat 11. If we add Banjo-Kazooie to the list, which now also includes Dragon Quest’s hero, that means there are two more characters left to reveal. All currently planned challenger packs will be out by 2020. Challenger packs come with a new fighter, stage, and music tracks. While Nintendo didn’t announce a price point for Banjo-Kazooie, it’s worth noting that they’ve said that each “challenger pack” will individually cost $5.99 each. Aside from re-releases, we haven’t seen much of either character since 2008’s Nuts & Bolts, which was released for the Xbox 360. Of course, Banjo-Kazooie is no stranger to Nintendo platforms - the duo originally premiered on Nintendo 64 hardware, back when Rare wasn’t owned by Microsoft.
